Launch

The first series of Akiha Den Den launches tonight at 7.30 UK time. Listen on iTunes, Stitcher, TuneIn or Soundcloud. If you like it please share it and spread the word. Hashtag Akiha.

If you are in Aberdeen tonight we are holding a launch event at Underdog, Union Street. You'll be the first to hear episodes 1 and 2 and some extra material from the soundtrack. Writer and director Neil Cargill will be there to answer any questions about the making of series 1.  There will also be a very small quantity of Akiha Theme 7" singles on sale. The event is supported by Aberdeen Performing Arts. 

A unique audio drama series created by writer/director Neil Cargill and musician/sound designer Simon James featuring an original electronic music score and full cast including Ian McDiarmid, famed for his role as Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars saga, as Cuttings - the radio ham who picks up a mysterious voice.

Thanks to Ian Helliwell for creating the video feedback effects in the trailer and big thanks again to Nick Taylor for his brilliant Akiha Den Den designs.

Mark Little

Another Olivier Award-winner joins us – actor and comedian MARK LITTLE will be Gabriel Augusto Gil, who is Peri's confidante at the Cantina of Lost Souls. Mark's highly- regarded work has included his one-man play Defending The Caveman, the role of Rupert Guinness in the Lance Armstrong biopic Icon directed by Stephen Frears – and who could forget his portrayal of another icon: Joe Mangel in Neighbours.
